Carrie Hopper and Laura Ockerman are paranormal investigators and Hosts of "A History of a Haunting" Podcast.
Carrie Hopper - Co-host / Executive Producer
HoaH was born from an idea she had that podcasts are AMAZING and the paranormal is her passion. She is a rare Arizona native, die hard Star Wars, Disneyland, Wonder Woman, and all things paranormal fan. She is a champion of rescue dogs - She has 3: Chewbacca, Leia, and Tater Tot. She is also a staunch advocate for those with autism; her now adult son is on the spectrum. She is a member of Southern Entities Paranormal as the team’s researcher and investigator. She collects hoodies from the haunted locations they cover and lives in North Carolina with her mother, son, and those 3 rebel dogs.
Laura Ockerman - Co-host / Executive Producer
How did she find herself joining this crazy shitshow? Well, it all started at work where this crazy chick named Carrie made her be her friend. Laura had been living in Austin, so when she returned to Phoenix last year Carrie tricked her into coming on as a guest host and her fate was sealed. Honestly, being a part of the podcast is the best waste of time she could ever hope for. When she is not making terrible jokes at the expense of the living and the not so living, she is out and about traveling, buying shoes, and hanging with her son Zane. You can catch him making his podcast contributions by interrupting them to say he loves them. All in all they are a pretty lucky pair. She is the newest member of Southern Entities Paranormal, as an investigator-in-training.
