🚨Dangerous Military Nerds | Wednesdays 4pm EDT🚨
“We're just like other nerds, only dangerous.”
TODAY: Don's and Gerry's guest today is Michael Carrasquillo of WTF Nation Radio and Wounded Warrior Project. On September 9, 2005, Michael jumped to the ground from a hovering helicopter in Afghanistan, looking to help his unit capture a high- value Al Qaeda official. But when his team was ambushed and one of his soldiers was injured, under fire from the enemy, Michael ran to help — and was wounded five times, spending the next two years in hospitals learning how to walk and use his hands again. Since then, he has again, stepped up to not only deal with his own wounds, but to help other Veterans in their recovery.
