Bishop Long serves as the Exorcist for the United States Old Catholic Church and has performed 30 documented Exorcisms on individuals who were validly possessed. He discusses Demonology and Possession on his show as well as other topics and teaches about the dangers that come with investigated Demonic cases.

Bishop Long has completed a book called, ”Through the Eyes of an Exorcist” and he is the founder of The Paranormal Clergy Institute. Currently, he serves as the Presiding Archbishop for the United States Old Catholic Church and he hosts a radio show on Para-X called, The Sacred Division, which can be heard every Wednesday night from 9pm until 11pm Eastern Standard Time.

Bishop Long was born in Louisville, Kentucky and was raised Roman Catholic. He attended a Roman Catholic grade school and he knew at the age of 5 that he wanted to be a Priest. His mother asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up and he pointed at the priest and said, “I want to do what he does.” From then on, his calling to serve as a priest grew stronger and after graduating high school, he had the opportunity to join the seminary but chose to join the workforce first. It was important for him to learn how to budget and to grow into a mature adult before entering the seminary.

After working several years within the workforce and gaining the skills needed, Bishop Long attended St. Meinrad Seminary/College but because of financial problems, the school had to close its doors. Therefore, he transferred to Loyola University in Chicago and graduated.

He continued his priestly studies by joining a Roman Catholic Graduate Seminary in Illinois. Bishop Long received his Minor Orders and was 1.5 years away from being ordained a Deacon. It was during this time that he began working closely with his spiritual director and through prayer, he and his spiritual director felt that God was calling him to serve as a priest within the Independent/Old Catholic Church.

Because of his theological differences with the Roman Catholic Church, Bishop Long felt that it was the right decision to be ordained within the Independent/Old Catholic Church rather than to continue within the Roman Catholic Seminary. This decision was very difficult for him to make and it was a decision that he made out of respect for the Roman Catholic Church and his calling.

Bishop Long supports the LGBTQ+ community and he firmly believes that women can have a calling to serve within the Priesthood as well. Although Bishop Long has taken a voluntary vow of Celibacy, he believes that priests should be allowed to be married, single or celibate and that celibacy should not be forced upon those who have a calling to serve in ministry.

In good faith, Bishop Long could not preach against those issues and if he had remained within the Roman Catholic Church and was ordained a Priest, he would have had to do just that. Bishop Long refused to preach against issues that he feels strongly about and he chose to reject living the life of hypocrisy and embrace his calling to serve within the Old Catholic Church.

He is currently a Bishop of the United States Old Catholic Church. and has devoted his entire life to the study of Demonology and serving others without charge. Over 20 years ago, he went public with his deliverance ministry and was the first Catholic Exorcist to publicly help the Paranormal Community. He serves as the Exorcist for the Church and has performed 30 documented Exorcisms on individuals who were validly possessed and he has blessed countless homes/locations.
