Dr. Trevor Wilkins spent the first 15 years of his service career as a law enforcement officer and he loved his job to the core. He thought he had seen it all, when one day he responded to a wreck where an elderly woman, who had been traveling to her family for the holidays, lost control and got into a horrific accident. As Officer Wilkins and the other officers rushed to the scene and they saw her trapped and burning to death. All they could do was watch powerlessly. They couldn't physically get her out of the car due to the large flames and her body being trapped by impact.
He was convinced he was at fault despite knowing that everything and everyone told him that it was not. He felt too weak, felt that he wasn’t brave enough, and began to take those feelings out on everyone around him. Filled with Anger and Pain, due to what we now know as PTSD, he quickly began a downhill slide. Eventually losing his health, fitness, family, sanity, and eventually his career. He became the employee that no one wanted to work with and a failure as a husband and father.
He desperately reached out for help from the people that said they would always be there, and they got rid of him. In a dark place, and not sure he could continue on, he decided that something had to change and thought that he was the only person that was suffering like this. With no college degree he returned to school and became Doctor Trevor Wilkins. Now, he used his experience and training in Rational Therapy and Stoic Philosophy to create The Angry Viking Mindset Method that saved his own life and he is now honored to use that system to save people that are hurting. https://www.avt.help/ https://thinlinecounseling.com/?page_id=5
