Erik Lavigne has been in law enforcement 17+ years. He was born in Flint, Michigan. He joined active duty Air Force as a Security Forces member. He served 4 years at Malmstrom AFB, became a cop in Saginaw, MI. He then transferred to the DFW area of Texas. He is currently a detective and also continues to serve the United States Air Force as an Individual Mobilization Augmentee (reservist attached to active duty unit) for the 802 Security Forces Squadron.

Erik holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a master’s degree in Criminology from Texas Christian University. He has been a police academy instructor for 3 years on one of the 12 largest departments in the nation. He is also a BJJ Purple belt.
