Donald R. Schmitt is the former co-director of the J. Allen Hynek Center for UFO studies in Chicago where he served as Director of Special Investigations for ten years. He was a special investigator for Dr. Hynek prior to that. A seven-time best-selling author, his first book UFO Crash at Roswell was made into the Golden Globe nominated movie Roswell and his book Witness to Roswell was the no. 1 bestselling UFO book in the world for two straight years. He is also the co-founder of the globally famous International UFO Museum and Research Center in Roswell New Mexico.
