Doug Auld grew up with a love for and fascination with nature and wildlife, all things mechanical, and the subject of UFOs. He attended trade high school for auto mechanics, welding and autobody, is a competitive ice hockey player, musician and composer. An accomplished, award-winning professional painter, Doug’s most challenging work was a three-year Art project titled "State of Grace." consisting of large scale portraits of adolescent burn survivors featured in the New York Times. His burn survivor series brought him into the burn survivor community in a way few outsiders have ever experienced. After witnessing a UFO, Dough began his involvement in photography and night vision filming of UFOs This led to his becoming heavily involved with the UFO community. This in turn led to his creating 100 portraits of whistleblowers mainly in the UFO and Black ops area. In 2017, Doug again following his intuition, created a stage Musical, “HYPNOTTA” to bring the “UFO” and paranormal topic to a stage inspired by several real-life events.
