Patrick Colligan was born in Buffalo, New York and entered onto Active Duty in the U.S. Air Force, in December of 1976. He served as a Sergeant and Nuclear Weapons Specialist and was stationed at RAF Bentwaters and RAF Woodbridge in England from July 1977 to July 1980. He departed the Twin Bases 5 months before, the famous Rendlesham Forest UFO Incident. After Military Service, he moved to California, graduated with a Degree in Exotic Animal Training and Management, then worked in movies and television as a wild animal trainer in Hollywood. In 1987 Colligan moved to San Diego and became an Elephant Trainer at the San Diego Wild Animal Park (since renamed the San Diego Zoo Safari Park) where he also worked with the Endangered California Condors.
In 1999, he moved to Roswell, New Mexico and went to work at RCC (Roswell Correctional Center) State Prison, as a State Corrections Officer. He left the State Prison in 2012 and went to work as a Security Contractor for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, at FLETC (Federal Law Enforcement Training Center,) in nearby Artesia, New Mexico. Has worked at FLETC for the past 10 years. It was while working at the RCC as a Corrections Officer that he had one of the most memorable UFO sighting/experiences this radio host has ever learned of.
