At the age of twelve, Alan had a life-changing experience with a childhood friend when they witnessed a UFO from the backseat of a car as they peered out at the dark, starlit New Jersey sky. This experience solidified his interest in all aspects of paranormal phenomena including ufology, cryptozoology, parapsychology, and metaphysics. He has followed the ongoing research ever since. His entry into paranormal media began in 2015 as a guest host on Ken Cherry’s EPIC VOYAGES RADIO where he also served as Technical Director.
He later began his own live two-hour podcast entitled Paranormal Now which eventually moved to KGRAdb, and now rebroadcasts as the newly titled MYSTIC LOUNGE on The Un-X Network; and is available on YouTube. Alan also has a short-form podcast called COFFEE & UFOs.
Alan has been a guest on several podcasts and online radio shows including Jimmy Church’s FADE 2 BLACK. Alan directed the documentary HALF LIGHT which is available on Tubi and youtube.com/mysticlounge.
In 2021 Alan was also featured in and co-produced the two-part documentary series SOUNDS OF THE DEAD: EVP; and LIFE AFTER. Alan is the co-producer and co-director of the documentary BORN EQUAL which explores the case for LGBTQ equal rights through the lens of spiritual belief systems, world mythologies, and science.
In 2022, Alan gave a lecture entitled The Importance of the Paranormal at the Pine Bush UFO and Paranormal Museum in Pine Bush, NY. He recently screened his documentary HALF LIGHT and presented a Q&A with the cast at the Tredyffrin Public Library for Mainline MUFON, hosted by Jennifer Stein.
