Ancients viewed it as a light to guide them and a god to be worshipped. In modern times, some see the Moon as just a dead rock caught in Earth’s gravitational pull. By contrast,there are those who say that the Moon is inhabited by extraterrestrials, that it's man made, and reports of anomalous lights and UFO sightings by NASA astronauts as well as possible ruins of an ancient civilization on the Moon call the whole "dead rock" idea into question.
