Joanne M. Clarkson has practiced psychic mediumship all her life. Her grandmother, psychic Esther Monson, taught her to read playing cards when she was a child. As a young teen, wanting a skill no one else in the family possessed, Joanne taught herself palmistry from books in the public library. She began giving public readings in her late teens. By reading hands (shapes, lines, special markings), Joanne helps people discover and affirm tendencies and talents and find purpose in their lives. She uses Tarot, which she now prefers to playing cards because of their powerful history and imagery, to answer questions about situations and relationships in clients’ lives now. Over the past year she has delved further into Astrology and now feels confident retrieving birth charts.
Joanne also practices Mediumship, carrying messages from Beings now in spirit. The death of her father when she was ten, as with many children who lose loved ones at a young age, opened her heart to worlds beyond this one. After caring for her mother through a long illness, Joanne left a long career as a professional librarian and became a Registered Nurse, specializing in Hospice. Her work with the dying and their courageous caregivers made her connection to Spirit even stronger.
Now retired and living in Port Townsend, Joanne gives spiritual readings and workshops both in person, over the phone and using Zoom. She loves to help others unlock their higher consciousness, meet their Guides, and expand their knowledge of empowering cosmic connections. Her book, “There’s Always a Miracle, True Stories of Life Before and After Death,” details many extraordinary experiences from her personal life and Hospice work. See more at JoannethePsychic.com.
