Klary E. Niezen-Koning, PhD, is a biochemist, clinical laboratory geneticist, and Professor of Medical Sciences at the University of Groningen in The Netherlands. She is an expert on epigenetics, mitochondrial genetics, and the pathophysiology of metabolic diseases.
