It's the Viele House, Davie's oldest standing structure, named after its original owner, Harry Viele. The two-story, 4,230 square-foot home dates to 1912, when Viele paid Fort Lauderdale carpenter William Griffin $2.50 a day to construct it on a site at the corner of Southwest 70th Avenue and Griffin Road.
